Most brands use the same fit model to create all of their designs. We know that women show up in all different shapes and sizes.
We can't be represented by one standard. That's why we create styles specifically for women 5'6" and shorter.
This is how our fit models compare to the industry standard.
Meet Our Fit Models
We try to fit each style on our team who have different body shapes. It’s important for us to prioritize models that are like us (friends, customers, family). We want to show you how our designs will really look on “real bodies.”
Our Fit Patterns
The disproportionate measurements to average fit model and average American woman explain why pants shopping always led to tears and frustration for us shorter girls. Hips were too low and wide, legs would usually be too snug, the knee break would usually hit us mid-calf, whiskering or pulling at the crotch, back pockets too big and too low, and of course, the obvious long inseam. So when we design our clothes, we don’t just consider the length of the inseam, but all the ways proportions may differ in various areas of the body, including:
shorter proportions (waist-hip-crotch)
higher knee breaks
curved knee breaks
flattering thigh curves
shorter inseams
