What is an elevated basic? To the Allison Izu brand it is all about wearing styles that are as comfortable as your favorite T-Shirt and Yoga pants, but having it feel a tiny bit more elevated and “put together.” It all starts with amazing fabrics that are soft, stretchy and breathable, that are made from a higher quality of yarn that withstands more wear and life. From there, our designer, Allison, creates styles that she would want to wear in her own busy life.
And while the brand has always been about comfort, style and ease, it seems even more important now that we are all staying at home, working from home and fusing our home life and work life into one outfit.
Some of her go-to pieces for #WorkfromHome mom-life:
Diamond Head Short (Black Double Knit) + Becca Top (Navy Fissure)
The Diamond Head Short will become your new favorite everyday shorts. Made from a comfy Nylon/Rayon/Spandex blend, it’s a thicker fabric that’s perfect for a day at the beach or just lounging around the house. Pair it with our favorite comfy and cool Becca Top for a chic look!
Ki-Ko (Black)) + Claire Top (Dark Coco) + Loren Coverup (Golden Wave)
The Ki-Ko is the perfect “loungewear” pant. It will be your favorite hang-out-at-home pant, while also becoming your favorite work pant, too. Pair it with the cap sleeve Claire Top to stay cool in the summer heat at home and throw over the Loren Cover up when you need to get on a Zoom meeting!
Citron Legging + Misa Top (Navy Fissure)
The Citron Legging is made from a breathable Nylon, Rayon, Spandex blend that will be breathable like you favorite Lululemon yoga pant. Its super soft and comfy to wear all day long! Throw the Misa top in the morning and get through your daily tasks (Netflix, Market, Bake some cupcakes) with comfort and ease!
Mandy ¾ + Sunrise Pant (Golden Wave)
The Mandy ¾ sleeve top is now on DEAL OF THE WEEK, and it is the perfect “work” top. It has a slimmer pant, which looks adorable tucked into our favorite Jogger - the Sunrise. It mimics the look of a sporty romper, that can go from Daytime marketing to Night time drinks with the girls (virtually for now, of course!)
