This is The Petite Lounge, a place to share thoughts, ideas, vent and complain about fashion, life, being petite, whatever! I am a 5′ 2″ fashion designer, who was totally frustrated with what fashion rules and options were out there for me. I came to the point, where I thought - why should I have to pay an extra $15 - $20 to hem my already $180 pair of jeans?

So I decided to change it and make a company that I love and enjoy, one that looks out for the short people. Thus, I created, ALLISONIZU. My first line will be premium petite denim, (cause personally I cant get enough denim) and because I knew this was the hardest and most challenging piece of clothing for most petite women.  It will be released in Hawaii in August 2008 and I am very excited!  I have basically spent the past few years obsessing over this (I’m very Type A) and trying to make the denim of my dreams (and hopefully yours).
